The Process

Commissioning a special piece of furniture has countless benefits for enhancing any space. The uniqueness, exquisite craftsmanship and overall quality of the finished product specifically designed and made for you will outshine anything sourced from a high street which has been mass-produced.

With lots of personal experience understanding the difficulty of finding something that fits perfectly with size, style or finish, Luke first spends valuable time to understand you, your ideas and your requirements for what you want to be made. In doing so, he can get a well-rounded picture of what you imagine so that he can make what you have envisaged become a reality.

To work with us, here are the general stages of the process to provide you with a statement piece of furniture:

1. Get in touch

Contact us via phone, email or on our social media sites and share your thoughts and ideas with Luke.

2. Initial drawing & price estimate

An initial drawing will be done using SketchUp and sent back to you so you can make any modifications you require. Along with a price estimate based on the preliminary information you provide.

3. Final design, quote & lead time

After you have approved the final design you will be given an official quote for the product you have commissioned. If the quote is approved, a 50% deposit is required to confirm your order with us. We will also provide a lead time and discuss delivery or shipping options.

4. Building begins

Then the real fun begins for Luke and what you have envisaged starts to become a reality. The entire process is important and if you like, we will keep you updated with each stage of the build from selecting timber at the woodyard right up until the product is ready to be shipped to you.
